Japanese Bench Chisels Box Set (1", ¾", ½", ¼", ⅛")

Great set of Japanese bench chisels! They require end user final set up (like most quality hand made Japanese chisels) such as setting the hoop properly, flattening the back, and final sharpening. After that final set up they are tools that will last a lifetime. Final set up is a rewarding and enjoyable process that always teaches me a lot of about the tools and makes me appreciate them more.

Chisels are great. The box was damaged in shipping because chisels were not secured inside the wooden box very well.

They look very nice and so far they're very sharp right out of the box. I haven't hit them with a hammer yet because I haven't set the rings, but I have removed some pine with just pressure and they are quite sharp. Will you be offering support accessories such as ring setters, hammers, etc., in the future? Looking forward to your next tool release. Thank you.
