Temple Tool Co. was co-founded by Chris Schoenberg, a full-time furntiture maker and content creator from Third Coast Craftsman and Takashi Morita, who has years of experience bringing fine Japanese tools to customers around the world.. After using Japanese Saws for nearly a decade and designing saws for other Japanese Saw companies for US markets, Chris wanted to create his own line of tools that blended Western and Japanese craftsmanship, quality, and design elements.

At Temple Tool we also wanted to do a better job educating and demystifying Japanese tools with honest and accurate packaging, descriptions, and educational material.
